Dr. Paul Nielson is passionate about his profession and his responsibility to your family’s dental health. For Dr. Nielson it has never been acceptable to just be an average dentist or to deliver average results-he has always aimed to exceed expectations.
Dr. Paul Nielson graduated Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in zoology. During his undergraduate studies he spent two years in Chile and became fluent in Spanish. He completed his dental training at the University of Washington in Seattle. He graduated as the top student in his class and received many awards and special recognition for his work with dental implants, periodontics, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Nielson has been caring for patients for the last eight years, with the majority of time spent in Arizona. During this time he has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education--much more than the state requirements! His focus of study is cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, and sedation dentistry. During the summer of 2009, he achieved fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in recognition of his extraordinary dedication to excellence.
Dr. Nielson enjoys treating patients of all ages and maintaining these friendships for years. His passion is creating an individual plan of dental health that will allow each patient to maintain strong teeth, healthy gums and a beautiful smile for a lifetime. He treats every patient as he would treat his own family members and offers his patients access to his personal cell phone number.

Dr. Nielson is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
 Dr. Nielson is the proud father of three small children, Isabella, Lincoln, and Wynston. He has been married 11 years to his wife, Erin. He enjoys family vacations to the beach and Disneyland. His personal hobbies are teaching at his church, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking.

Upon graduation from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, I returned home to Phoenix, AZ to provide my patients with quality care in all facets of general dentistry.
By my fourth year in practice, I developed a love for oral surgery which led me down a 2 year path of internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and fellowship in oral implantology – both at the University of Miami, FL. As one of just a handful of fellowship trained implantologists in the country, I have now dedicated my career to the pursuit of excellence in implant surgery and bone regeneration. My greatest delight is seeing the positive impact that my care has on the lives of my patients.
