Virtual Dental Consult by Dr. Tim Schmidt.
Virtual consult is one these new things that we are doing that maybe I am most excited about it. Virtual consult is very easy and patients really appreciate it.
When a patient seeks a virtual consultation, what they do is take a few photos of their smile and with just a few brief comments on their main concerns and they e-mail these to us.
Typically, a virtual consult is a cosmetic consult, someone will send in a photo saying hey “I don’t like my crooked tooth”, or “I got a chip here” or “my smile is too gummy”
So, the neat thing about the virtual consult is that all the patient must do is send in a photo or a couple of photos with their comments.
From there onwards, I will create a small video where I will discuss their case, show some similar example cases I have done in our office that are similar to the patients concern and I will demonstrate what options are available to them.
Virtual consult really gives people the first step to know their options that way when they come in we have direction and they know what to expect and available usually from a cosmetic standpoint.
The dentists and team at Life Smiles Dental Care have a lot to do with keeping patients in the Phoenix area smiling.
