Adult orthodontics are available for patients in Phoenix, AZ and include Six Month Smiles

Adult Orthodontics in Phoenix area

Phoenix, AZ patients who are interested in adult orthodontics may be able to avoid going to a specialist for services. At Life Smiles Dental Care, adults can achieve the smile they want with the dentist they already know and trust. Drs. Paul Nielson and Timothy Schmidt work closely with patients to help them realign their smiles and improve the bite alignment as needed without using conventional braces.

Adult orthodontics available

Life Smiles Dental Care offers two highly desirable orthodontic treatments for adults:

  • Six Month Smiles – for patients who have mild misalignment of the smile and are seeking changes to the front, Six Month Smiles might be perfect! Six Month Smiles uses tooth-colored wires and clear brackets to address the “social six,” the six most noticeable teeth when patients smile, speak, and laugh with others. If patients have a small gap or misaligned teeth near the front that they would like to address, they can use Six Month Smiles to quickly and easily achieve the results they desire.

Which treatment is right for me?

When patients visit Drs. Paul Nielson or Timothy Schmidt, they will be able to ask about the options available and choose the one most appropriate for their specific needs. Our team of professionals will assess the smile and help patients select Six Month Smiles for their dream smile. We advise patients as to how long treatment will take, what can be expected during the process, and how much the treatment will cost. These are all factors that patients will take into consideration when choosing their orthodontic solution. There is no “one size fits all” option, giving patients the chance to select a solution best for their specific and unique needs.

Is orthodontic treatment covered by dental insurance?

This is a difficult question to answer, as all dental insurance plans are different. Some will provide partial or full coverage of orthodontic treatment, while some will not cover treatment at all. If patients are faced with paying out-of-pocket for their treatment, our team of professionals will allow them to set up a financing plan to make their treatment attainable on even the tightest of budgets. Monthly payments can be made, or patients can pay their treatment in full upfront if they desire. Our front office team encourages patients to bring their dental insurance cards with them to their appointment so our staff can determine if coverage is available.

When do I need traditional braces?

For patients with more severe cases of misalignment, traditional braces from an orthodontist might still be necessary. This can be determined during the initial consultation appointment. We can provide treatment for patients with mild to moderate misalignment, but complex cases may require an orthodontist. We work with several orthodontic providers in the area of Phoenix, AZ so patients know their referral is to a professional they can trust.
